Kingdom Hearts

I have had an incredibly busy summer. Recently I realized that this had led to my lack of posting for months. Now that school has started back up and life is slightly more stable, I decided to craft a new entry on GAX. Over the course of summer my 360 was mostly gone or not working because of the third RRoD. WoW lost my interest for the time being and thus I unsubed. During this time I found myself looking to play some older games that were highly praised, but that I had not played. I found out… Continue

Getting around to it...

I have not written a post in awhile, and tonight I felt that this should be remedied. There hasn't been an incredible amount of new developments, but I will write on them none-the-less. After my 360 red-ringed on me for a second time, I wrote a post describing my frustrations. I have had it back now for about five days. The first day I got my repaired 360 back, I set it up and played some Halo3 with a few of my roomates. Not thirty minutes with my 360 powered on, my 360 freezes, shuts off, and… Continue

The Ideal MMO

There are certain essential components in all MMO's. Elements of the game that make or break it. Fortunately in this genre, change occurs often through patching. Negative qualites may become assests, and good elements may become even better. After reading TheEpicJoe's post "The top 5 things every MMO must have", I decided to give my own thoughts on what is important in creating and sustaining a successful MMO title. 1) Story. A cohesive and overarching stoyline. This may be applied to a more li… Continue

Red Ring of Death....Again....

Yes, thats right. My Xbox 360 red ringed again. This was my second, and this is really starting to get on my nerves. I must give credit to Microsoft though. They handled the situation very well. They sent me a box to ship my Xbox back to them in three days, and in two weeks I should have a new Xbox back. All this at no cost to me. After I get my box back I may get GTA4, since I'm hearing so many people rave over this title. In other news, I'm still enjoying WoW immensly. I just got the Battlegr… Continue

What Should Be Changed In WoW.

I've been back on WoW for a little while now, and I have found there are some things I am really enjoying, and other aspects of the game that I dislike. I have decided to write out some of the items that are at the top of my head: Dislikes: 1) How long it often takes for quest items to drop. On some quests it is fine, but for others having to kill 5 or more of "x" for one item out of ten is a bit obnoxious in my opinion. Every other one, or one in three seems more appropriate. 2) How many time… Continue

Thanks :)

I really enjoyed reading what you had to say - it's rare to see a WoW player lay out their opinions so eloquently, and very refreshing to see! :)

Yeah bro, Army of Two is out now, so I will tell you this about it. It is fuckin' mind blowing. Any gamer should like it. Def check it out bro. But Brawl was fun, I played it with my girlfriend and she isn't to much of a gamer, but just for a demo she was getting pissed at the fact that I kept kicking her ass, so what did she do? Smack me with the friggin Wii mote.

Okay i see, i just thought you meant like it just became online. Sorry about that. Technically though, there were two games for the GC that were online - Fantasy star online 1 and 2 - but i guess that really isn't much. fun fact the GC online connector was made by nintendo but a third party company made the only two online games

I dream of that day man, lol... the worst part about this last one is I was halfway through Mass Effect, and had finally broke down and bought the Oblivion expansion which made it as far as out of the box and downloaded...never even played... so lame.

Yeah I know what you mean, I'm doing something for EA (can't tell you any details >_<) and I have gotten my hands on a copy of Army of Two about a week ago, and it is amazing. And recently when I was at GDC I got to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl and I loved it.

Well I know exactly what your going at. I just beat Portal, literally 2 hours ago with the advanced maps included, But I still got Half-Life 2 which I haven't even played for more than 10 minutes, but Assassin's Creed was fun, Loved the ending, hated the game itself =/, but Mass Effect was a fun run for 5 weeks lol, and then there is still BioShock which I'm planning on putting 10+ hours into it this week. So I'm kinda bummed about all the new releases.
