These Forums?
I know its not the main focus for the site, but i'm simply calling out that this is where i'd be hanging out most of the time on GAX.
I don't like the layout of these forums, and this was one of my major gripes with Gax v1. I'd say either take them out, or you're gonna need some external forum action (embedded in the page of course).
It's a weak spot. I'm not bitching out the site though, I actually really like this itteration.

The forums have been a concern since day 1...it is a jump from the old school phpbb feel for sure...the thing is with the addition of groups is doesnt make much sense to have a full set of old school forums...we are still debating this...and we shall see...i do feel you though
Im glad your enjoying the majority of the site though...We cant wait until you can rearrange your personal page and also skin your Comutiny page...it make take awhile for that to happen but its in the works,

If your looking for pennies for your thoughts, I'll give you two. Scrap these forums, there is plenty of places for people to discuss random jibber jabber. I'd support a phasing out of forums.

This is a good point, I find it a bit confusing about what I'm replying to from the front page. Not sure if i am replying to a group or a forum discussion. If we have the group discussions, maybe canning the forums is a good move?

I think thats a great idea...I will make a Group-GAX Devlopment so people can stay in the loop with updates/features/site suggestions...everything based around groups makes much more sense...thanks fellas

these forums are fucking horrible. somethingawful.com copy their code and boom, you have perfection.
forums are an integral part of any community, and groups are just a good way to separate people who have a specific purpose in it.

I have to agree I like more traditional forums. As seeing as most of the people play MMO's they prob are in guilds that have guild forums. I am so used to normal forums that these are confusing to me!

Even though I am (very) new here, I have to agree. I have been to many forums and this layout is.... meh. Everything else is cool though.
