Game 2
High in the mountains of Hokkaido there was a pair of figures in dark robes. One was leaning on his shovel easily, while the other knelt next to their recently dug hole. She carefully opened the ornamental box and withdrew the scroll from inside. Holding it carefully she withdrew a small stamp from her robe. As steadily as possible she pressed the stamp against the center of the seal, causing the scroll to vanish in an instant.
A pair of hounds bounded away down the mountain. Only a trembling rabbit, mad with loneliness was there to mark their passage, though.
West of Sendai a small clutch of rabbits met around the body of one of their dead. To each their neighbor they spoke, musing on the possibilities. There was no doubt a wolf had done it, the one who had interrupted the scene even reported it had seemed to be taking the form of a rabbit as it had escaped. No, the doubt was of each other, of those not close enough to hear, and of what they might do next.
The eldest made his way through the clutch to stand over the broken body.
"This is a bad omen, a bad omen indeed. We must find this one among us, and punish them for their crimes."
"What if there is more than one!?"
"How are we to find them?"
"Who decides what one is guilty!?"
"Silence!" The elder interrupted them. "We shall have a council, all the adults in the pack shall meet at the sacred grounds every night beginning tomorrow. It is for us to determine the guilt of one of our own. Spend your days in investigation, your nights will be left to punishment."
The elder walked away slowly, while everyone simply stared after him in silence. On the morrow their grim work would begin, but today their minds stirred waking paranoia from it's usual slumber.
Game 2 Rules:
There are:
12 rabbits
1 special - Seer
3 wolves
2 items - One shot vigilantes
The items are given to two randomly selected rabbits. If they are not used on that rabbits death they will be passed to another random rabbit. After two moves they disappear entirely.
In this thread you cast your vote, please format it in bold with wording along the lines of, "I vote for (so and so)". You may retract once, always use bold when retracting or it WILL NOT COUNT!
Ties will be broken by a random selection of one of the tied players. If nobody was killed, it would remove the rabbits only weapon against the wolves, if both were killed it could be rigged by the wolves for an extra kill.
The Day One Rule
For this and all following games by me people who die on the first day are granted one day of immunity from the vote and all kills, the first. I don't want anyone getting killed first day of every game they play, since serious play can't even begin on the first day.
Any votes or kill messages will be entirely ignored.
This game the benefactor of that rule is:
Kelly.
