Schilling: No Skirts Will Be Lifted in San Diego

Well, it looks like we will have to wait just a little bit longer for the grand unveiling of 38 Studios' 'Copernicus' project.

From Curt Schilling's Blog:

"Doesn’t look like we’ll have the desired (by me anyway) coming out party at SD Comic Con this year, for about a billion reasons. The main one is that we just aren’t ready to do it and if we were to go through with it, we’d be intruding on development as well as pushing things that aren’t ready. We’ll still be there and we’ll certainly have something to show, but it won’t be the ‘lift our skirts’ to the world I said it might be last year."

It is hard to get too disappointed, considering the fact that we had absolutely no idea what was going to be presented at Comic-Con anyhow. It is encouraging to see 38S focusing on the integrity of the development process, as opposed to pushing out some half-baked demo in order to generate hype.

What is frustrating, is the fact that every hotel, motel, gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in the Greater San Diego Area is totally booked for Comic-Con. I suppose I could just sleep on the beach.

Ohhh! I live in San Diego and have a nice guest room that's not rented out for Comic Con, so not ALL residences are booked, LOL. I wonder; perhaps I should list it somewhere hehehe.
