Well now that the NDA has been lifted and that W.A.R starts peeking round the corner, it's time we had a small screenshot session with some screenies from the current beta version.
All screenshots can be clicked for a larger view. I present to you, my Chaos Chosen: Joko!

The character selection screen.

That's the chaos mount. Mounts accelerate walking speed by 50%.
The next one is a nice example of weather effects:

You can't see it too well in a caption, but the white clouds are part of a heavy blizzard effect. They're very well done as for example this blizzard will continue to soar through the air as the ground level lowers, and you will be able to see the blizzard blowing above you as you stand at the mountains foot.
But let's get a little more practical. This is an example of the current UI

1) Health and AP bars of your character, along with Mob HP bar. The buffs and debuffs will appear under either bar. Right under your portrait is a small button that opens the "Open Party Finder" which allows you to join almost any party in the area with available slots.
2)Quick menu bar with icons that lead to your skills, inventory, character sheet, Tome of Knowledge, Menu, Options screen, Guild screen.
3)The Bar on the top is your Exp bar.
4)The minimap. There's a lot of info on your area here. Appart from your standard map, on top you have a bar which indicates faction domination (since I'm in Tier 4 the Bar only shows my faction for the time being), and on the side is your influence meter for the chapter you are currently in. It also has a small button so you can queue in the Scenario of the area.
5)Your typical quest log.
6)Action bars with a mouseover skill explanation.
7)That small stepped-shaped bar on top of your action bars is your moral bar. At each step (dots) a morale skill is activated and ready for use.
8)Your tactics bar. Here you can set your tactics into up to 9 preconfigured tactics settings which can be changed on the fly (out of combat of course).
9) Guess what this is? Bingo! The chat box.
10)Good 'ole Joko smashing a corpulent marauder to smithereens. As you can notice a scrolling combat text and a mob visual health bar is implemented.
11)This is your important message area. All types of info will be shown here like critical hits, quest milestones, and important area info, as dominance progression, capital city level up and captured objectives.
Next is the map:

This is Chaos Wastelands, a Tier 4 Chaos area. The darkened area in the center is the open RvR area, you can notice the two Keeps marked in red (controlled by Destruction) and the 2 flags marking the battlefield objectives (untaken). Also note how in the PvE area there are red circles, these are areas where quest objectives can be found, it works along with the quest log on the side of the map. The little chest drawings mark PQ areas and you can see a mouseover of quest objectives. Green dot is a quest giver, arrow is your current position and the allmighty world control bar is at the bottom, all nice and simple.
Now let's start a Tome of Knowledge Combo:

This is your index page. Pretty self explanatory.

This is a Chapter (PQs) entry. You can see a small map of the area where the chapter is centered (where the reward giver and location binder is). Below it is the influence meter for that chapter, along with the rewards you can choose from when you reach each milestone. Under that is a list of the Public Quests which are linked to that chapter. The story of the selected PQ is shown on the adjacent page. If we were to turn that page we'd see a list of the stages of that PQ and how many you have currently completed.

This is a Bestiary Entry. You can see the name, number of kills, a small picture and a short overview of the mob. On the adjacent page is a list of tome unlocks which are linked to actions involving that mob. You can see reward symbols next to the completed ones (shown exp, and title rewards).

This is a quest entry. You have two buttons to activate /deactivate tracking onscreen and on the map, options to share or abandon the quest, and a party of story linked to that quest. On the adjacent page you'll find a short summary of your objectives, a list of objectives and the rewards of the quest.
Closing the Tome of Knowledge let's see a few of the most common tabs:

From left to right we have:
-Character equip and stats: pretty self explanatory, in this screen you can change your equipment and trophies and see both your offensive and defensive stats.
-Abilities: A list of all your abilities with tabs that left you shift among skills, morale skills, tactics, and purchased renown stat upgrades.
-Inventory: Which can be viewed either as the classic bag view or a list of items. Careful cause you have a separate inventory tab for the quest related items. Don't panic if you can't find them in your regular inventory.
Well hope you enjoyed this short presentation and that you now have a better idea of what the game looks like.
